    About

    Extra Origins expands the Origins mod with playable origins that give characters distinctive strengths, restrictions, and changing abilities. As a Floran, you can grow plants by spending hunger, recover from sunlight, gain strength near water, and survive on honey bottles, but fire deals extra damage. The Truffle switches among Red, Green, and Blue Magic Spores for offensive, defensive, or mobility advantages; on mycelium, those spores respectively increase attack speed, grant knockback immunity, or boost jumping while sprinting, while food is decomposed so its status effects are lost. The small, half-health Inchling climbs any wall, rides mobs and players, walks on powder snow, and avoids several movement penalties, but has reduced health and slower attacks are not described as a current benefit here. The Piglin origin strengthens golden gear and crossbows and is treated neutrally by ordinary Piglins, while Brutes remain hostile; outside the Nether, Piglins become weaker and undead unless golden food temporarily prevents the change, and they are limited mainly to meat. Nucleons receive three random powers that decay into new ones over time, making their abilities change during play.
