About
Giacomo’s Fishing Net adds a throwable net that can be aimed at enemies or friends, or placed in water to catch fish and other items. Placed nets work best with plenty of surrounding water; you can collect a net by breaking it with a tool or take one fish at a time by right-clicking it. Nets can be enchanted with Luck of the Sea, Lure, or Unbreaking, and fed bone meal or fish meal as bait; fish meal is made by cooking cooked cod, cooked salmon, pufferfish, or clownfish. Unenhanced nets normally wait eight minutes between catches, while fully enhanced nets wait four minutes, and server settings can be adjusted in the configuration file. The client rendering options let nets show their contents either as floating individual items or as crossed textures that indicate the number of entangled fish without revealing their types.
