About
Inspecio improves item tooltips, replacing some plain text displays with richer presentations and adding useful details about items and their contents. It can show the inventories of shulker boxes and other storage blocks, including chests, barrels, and chiseled bookshelves; these previews can be compacted, and shulker box contents can be color-tinted. Other container and object previews include campfire contents, jukebox discs, sign text, banner patterns, paintings, and loot-table identifiers when available. Tooltips can display armor bars and armor-stand equipment and poses, while bees in hives, fish or axolotls in buckets, spawn-egg entities, and spawner contents can be shown as entity previews. Filled maps can be previewed, and lodestone compasses can show coordinates; food tooltips can add hunger and saturation bars, while potion-related tooltips describe effects on potions, tipped or spectral arrows, food, and beacons. Most features can be enabled or disabled and adjusted through the mod’s configuration, with options including compact or colored container displays and whether entity previews spin or show names.
