    About

    Iron’s Gems ’n Jewelry adds a modular jewelcrafting system, letting players combine patterns and materials to make rings and amulets with more than 10,000 possible combinations. Craft jewelry at a Jewelcrafting Station: patterns define the kind of bonus, materials determine its effect, and material quality affects its strength. Some patterns are available from the start, while others are learned by consuming Artisan Scrolls found as loot or obtained through villager trades. The seven new obtainable gems include garnet, moonstone, onyx, peridot, ruby, sapphire, and topaz, which join familiar materials such as amethyst, diamond, emerald, and lapis lazuli. Jewelry bonuses range from attribute boosts and positive or negative effects to triggered actions such as healing, damage, knockback, or effects activated when attacking, taking damage, blocking with a shield, or hitting a target with a projectile. Examples of specialized patterns include the Piglin Signet Ring, which grants piglin neutrality, the Ring of Haggling, which provides trade discounts, and the Tearstone Ring, which grants effect immunity. A new Jeweler villager profession trades materials and finished jewelry and offers advanced patterns. The mod is data-driven, with registries that allow datapacks and addons to expand or customize patterns, parts, and materials.
