    MoreMcmeta Emissive Textures is a client-side plugin for MoreMcmeta that lets resource packs add emissive overlays to blocks, items, entities, block entities, and liquids without OptiFine. It supports both OptiFine-style .properties files and the plugin’s JSON-based .moremcmeta format, so packs made for OptiFine’s emissive-texture system can be used as well as custom packs. Overlays can be configured to glow and to use partial transparency, allowing their appearance to blend with the underlying texture. Combined with MoreMcmeta’s smoothAlpha animation parameter, partially transparent emissive overlays can be animated to create blinking effects.
