About
Mythic Mounts adds 14 tameable animals that spawn across different biomes and can accompany players as flying, aquatic, or terrestrial mounts. Its creatures include village-dwelling Żar-ptaks, cave-dwelling dragons, jungle courier birds, deep-ocean Archelon, and Nether bats; individual species have distinct habitats, diets, temperaments, and breeding foods. Some mounts bring distinctive abilities: Acencia can climb sheer surfaces, Nightmare can walk on lava, and flying and aquatic mounts have dedicated flight and underwater boost controls. Players tame mounts by riding them until they stop bucking, though some species are hostile during taming; two healthy, tamed animals of the same species can breed when fed their appropriate items. Tamed mounts can be ridden, directed to sit in place, and equipped with horse armor or chests that expand their inventory; inventory capacity differs by species. The mod also includes baby variants, a way to raise miniature mounts, and a summoning staff that links to a mount and teleports it a short distance when conditions allow. Battle mounts can aid their owners in combat, while configurable settings let players adjust spawn rates, mount stats, AI and behavior, and inventory capacity.
