Cozy Zen is a vanilla-plus modpack for relaxed building, homesteading, fishing, wildlife watching, and exploration, keeping Minecraft’s familiar feel while adding richer scenery, ambience, and quality-of-life improvements. For decorating, it adds furniture and building details from collections such as Macaw’s, Handcrafted, Yuushya Townscape, and Farmhouse Decoration, alongside garden paths, railings, fairy lights, lanterns, paintings, connected textures, and optional shaders. Farming and food are expanded with crops and recipes from Farmer’s Delight, Croptopia, Cultural Delights, and Legendary Farming, plus improved fishing, Starcatcher tournaments, storage options, and homestead companions such as SWEM horses. More than 50 added mobs bring wildlife and companions to the world, including butterflies, fireflies, Ribbits, hamsters, and creatures from Alex’s Mobs, Untamed Wilds, Critters & Companions, and Faunify; Mob Lassos help with animal transport. Exploration takes place across biomes from Terralith and Regions Unexplored, with points of interest such as YUNG’s structures, villages from Towns & Towers and Better Villages, Rainbow Reef, and Jungle Treehouse, as well as villager quests and hidden adventures. Serene Seasons, new boats, scuba gear, and soft environmental effects support unhurried outings, while the pack’s visual, interface, and performance improvements help keep play smooth and immersive.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 30 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 7 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 249 of its 253 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 223 of its 227 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 20 of the 194 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
33 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
