Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 286 graded mods, 219 are graded A or B, 56 C and 11 D to F. Its last update came out 8 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Mystic Horizons is a fantasy medieval RPG modpack built around exploration, survival, combat, discovery, and character progression. It transforms the world with towering peaks, fantastical regions, and thousands of dungeons and structures to explore. Exploration brings encounters with new creatures and hundreds of bosses and minibosses, while a new temperature system makes navigation more challenging and rewarding. Players can fight with melee weapons, cast spells using spellbooks, or tame creatures to help them, with hundreds of weapons featuring new animations. Wearable trinkets and artifacts grant special abilities for traversal and survival, and mounts and wings add further ways to travel. Progression lets players develop a preferred style, including magic, necromancy, or melee. The pack also adds dimensions with powerful upgrades and changes the atmosphere with revamped clouds, nebulas, celestial bodies, and a custom resource pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 19 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 17 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 289 of its 290 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 282 of its 284 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 18 of the 239 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
45 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
