Fight powerful mutant mobs and collect special rewards in your world.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Old Mutant More adds powerful mutant versions of familiar mobs as challenging encounters, with mutants able to appear naturally or be created using special brewing items. Its featured opponents include the Mutant Husk, Mutant Wither Skeleton, Mutant Blaze, Mutant Hoglin, and Mutant Shulker, each with distinctive attacks and combat behavior. The Husk summons regular Husks and can throw its target into the air before slamming it down, while the Wither Skeleton fights with dual claymores, lunges, and sends burning shockwaves across the battlefield. The Blaze’s spinning rods pull nearby creatures into its orbit, and its death triggers a tornado that draws in mobs before bursting into blaze rods; its core can boost an airborne player and fling nearby mobs. Some collected Blaze rods can become tamed Rodlings, flying pets that follow their owners and fight with fireballs, while a Rodling Checker displays their stats and adjusts behaviors such as sitting on a shoulder or damaging blocks. The Hoglin charges through blocks and drops a tusk that can be brewed into Hog Power, temporarily granting speed, extra health, and a knockback effect. The Shulker alternates between a closed, damage-immune shell and attacks such as rapid homing bullets, a crushing teleport, and a flying barrage; its reward is a box that captures a nearby mob and can transport it in flying mode. Formula Y is brewed from bottles and obsidian and can sometimes mutate a mob, while the more potent Compound Z combines Formula Y with a mutant drop and has a 50 percent chance to cause a mutation; either item can also be used to create Mutant Beasts mutants. Defeating mutants yields distinctive rewards, including a cactus-filled jug with temporary beneficial effects, Wither Skeleton armor and a chance at a flame-shockwave claymore, and the Hoglin tusk; the mod also includes special advancements and configurable options, including the Husk’s cactus-covered appearance.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 blocks, 24 items, 7 mobs, 2 projectiles, 4 other entities, 6 recipes, 16 advancements and 9 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
