A small mod that adds mobs with "Minecrafty" feel.
34.1 of the 61 points that apply = 56 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Primitive Mobs adds 25 hostile and docile creatures to make the Overworld, Nether, and End feel more lively while fitting Minecraft’s style. Its creatures include tameable, color-changing Chameleons; Treasure Slimes that can carry loot and be tamed; Haunted Tools that haunt underground; and Lost Miners who can reward players with emeralds before becoming villagers with a Miner profession. Other additions bring distinctive encounters: Rocket Creepers leap before exploding, TNT-throwing creepers retreat from nearby players, Filch Lizards steal ingots or gems, and Grove Sprites plant and nurture saplings, including those from modded trees. Dodos near mycelium provide meat and occasionally lay eggs, while Mother Spiders defend their babies; eggs from a Mother Spider can summon tameable Baby Spiders that fight for the player, grow through stages, and can eventually be ridden. Underground chests may be Mimics, mob traps, or ordinary loot, and the wider roster also includes Skeleton Warriors whose arrows inflict weakness, Nether Blazes that attack in zigzags, Trollagers that turn to stone in daylight, lava-dwelling FlameSpewers, armor-damaging Goblins, and mountain-dwelling birdlike attackers that can snatch players into the air. The mod also adds craftable Camouflage Armor that changes color like a Chameleon and, as a full set, reduces mob detection range; Grove Sprite Wonder Sap converts logs to the Sprite’s tree type, and the Mimic Orb can turn an ordinary chest into a Mimic chest. Players can configure individual mobs, selected behaviors and spawn chances, Mimic generation, and several terrain effects; loot tables can also be customized for supported drops and special features. Just Enough Resources displays villager trades and Mimic and mob loot, while JourneyMap can show most of the added mobs on its minimap.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Adds 16 items, 9 recipes, 20 loot tables and 18 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
