    About

    RLCombat is a combat mod forked from Better Combat Rebirth for use with RLCraft, with changes aimed at improving mod compatibility and fixing bugs. It lets players attack with weapons in both the main hand and offhand, with offhand cooldowns, damage attributes, and attack timing handled independently rather than simply borrowing the main-hand weapon’s behavior. Combat feedback includes hit and critical-hit sounds, sweeping particles, weapon swing and equip sounds, and custom animations for swings, idle breathing, sprinting, close-to-wall movement, and camera motion; these animation and sound systems can be enabled or disabled in configuration. Configuration also offers control over details such as whether attacking interrupts sprinting, whether offhand attacks are weaker, and whether swings pass through passable blocks. The mod includes compatibility for Quality Tools weapon attributes in the offhand and for offhand attacks against multipart Ice and Fire entities such as dragons.
