Tough survival with computers to help manage your resources.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 244 graded mods, 90 are graded A or B, 43 C and 111 D to F. Its last update came out 3.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Modern RLCraft builds on RLCraft’s demanding survival and skill-progression gameplay, adding a technology progression that offers practical help with inventory management and resource gathering. Players can work toward computers, tablets, ME networks, and programmable robots, drones, and turtles, while the pack also includes technology from CC: Tweaked, Plethora, Applied Energistics 2, OpenComputers, and Ender Storage. Its broader engineering toolkit includes power and machinery from EnderIO, Draconic Evolution, Mekanism, and Industrial Foregoing, alongside storage additions such as Storage Drawers and AE2 wireless terminals. For exploration beyond the RLCraft world, the pack adds the Lost Cities and Twilight Forest dimensions, with Dynamic Trees contributing to the generated environments.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 9 Sep 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 9 Sep 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 253 of its 256 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 242 of its 246 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 135 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
111 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
