    About

    RLFoliage is a client-side cosmetic mod that improves the rendering of leaves, grass, netherrack, and soul sand, with additional effects such as connected grass and snow, rising souls, and alternate cactus models. It is a performance-focused rewrite of BetterFoliage that improves rendering speed, memory use, and visual results across graphics settings, and fixes issues such as black shading on mycelium grass, cacti, and netherrack vines. Configuration includes options for rising-soul speed, cactus models, and biome-specific settings by biome type; the mod also supports VintageFix's Dynamic Resources feature and offers compatibility options for cutout-texture mipmapping and OptiFine shader lighting. The fork omits BetterFoliage's round-log feature.
