Adds characters that build houses, mine blocks, and craft items.

Roamers adds rare, player-like characters that establish homes and work to meet their needs, with races associated with biomes including plains, savanna, badlands, desert, jungle, taiga, snowy plains, and cherry grove. A Roamer marks its land with a campfire, clears nearby clutter when needed, then builds a race-specific house from gathered materials; desert homes use sandstone, taiga homes use spruce, and snowy homes are igloos, with a chest and bed added inside. Roamers can cultivate crop plots and, for some races, animal pens, tending crops and livestock as food sources; they also hunt and cook meat at their campfires, and hunger can affect their ability to work. They breed and raise babies, and their moods and traits shape their behavior: for example, characters may become depressed in confined spaces, while brave or heroic babies can fight back when hurt. Players build relationships with Roamers by offering food, valuable items, or building materials; friendly Roamers may share food and defend a player from an attacker. At maximum relationship, a player can use a flower to have a Player Descendant with a Roamer; the child resembles its player parent, has an inventory with equipment slots, and can be taught to help with chores by earning its trust and keeping it fed. Descendants can mine for a specified ore, chop wood, hunt, cook at a nearby campfire, fish for catches ranging from junk to enchanted books, and farm crops; tools and items in their inventory determine what tasks they perform and what they seek. Bandits provide a hostile counterpoint: they arrive in patrol-like groups, attack players and other characters, and may raid nearby chests for food or valuables, which they wear or carry away until killed. Characters’ appearances can vary through race-dependent genetics, including skin, hair, and eye colors, and children can inherit a mixture of their parents’ features. Descendants can also build their own base within an area assigned by their parent, and can use their own furnace to add fuel and cook food or raw materials. Characters can craft tools and armor from available materials and choose better equipment when they find it, including modded armor.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
Adds 8 items, 2 mobs, 1 other entity, 1 structure and 132 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
