Survive zombie hordes in a toxic wasteland full of danger.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 235 graded mods, 211 are graded A or B, 15 C and 9 D to F. Its last update came out yesterday, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Zombie Apocalypse: Last Days in the Wasteland is a survival modpack set in a devastated world where toxic air, ruined terrain, and roaming zombie hordes make finding shelter and supplies dangerous. The Lost Cities fills the landscape with abandoned skyscrapers and broken roads, while Wastelands of Baedoor turns biomes into ruined radioactive zones; exploration also leads to ruins, dungeons, and broken monuments from Additional Structures and Explorify. Undead threats include zombie villagers and other infected, with Epic Siege Mod and AI Improvements making zombies smarter, stronger, and relentless. Survival also involves thirst, body temperature, and changing seasons through Tough As Nails, alongside equipment for defending a shelter and carrying supplies, including Security Craft, Torchmaster, Farmer’s Delight, Comforts, and Sophisticated Backpacks. AmbientSounds, Enhanced Visuals, Sound Physics Remastered, and horror-themed shader options such as Insanity, Hysteria, and Spooklementary contribute to the unsettling atmosphere.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 14 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 4 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 234 of its 236 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 228 of its 230 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 6 of the 194 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
8 other mods show AI use only from after this release (14 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
36 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
