Enhanced royal variations of vanilla mobs with their own characteristics.
51.2 of the 71 points that apply = 72 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Royal Variations adds enhanced versions of vanilla hostile mobs to make survival more varied and challenging, with configurable spawning, stronger abilities, and extra experience and drops. Royal Zombies rally nearby zombies by equipping them with helmets and iron weapons and boosting their defense, while their attacks mark a victim as a priority for nearby undead. Royal Skeletons fire powerful arrows that mark targets to weaken them and draw nearby monsters; they can also empower nearby skeletons’ bows and throw a sword-cuttable net when struck. Royal Creepers can set off nearby monsters as delayed, block-safe bombs that daze players, and their own slower, more powerful explosions can become stronger when charged. The rarer Royal Enderman acts as a miniboss: its gaze provokes nearby Endermen, its teleports damage and slow players, and it can summon falling Spectral Anvils during combat. Drops from the royal mobs support a range of equipment and utility items, including a Royal Bow and marking arrows, a Royal Bomb, a damage-free Royal Ender Pearl that harms and slows nearby monsters, and a Spectral Gauntlet that extends block reach and may call down an anvil. Players can craft Royal Knight Armor from fragments, chainmail, and a Royal Upgrade; wearing the full set can grant you and nearby pets temporary defense when your health is low. A Spiritual Crown Shard drops periodically from any royal mob and is used to craft the Spiritual Crown; the one-use crown can transform a mob into its royal variation when one exists.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 3 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and Rendering and graphicsChanges 2 game code files in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 28 items, 4 mobs, 4 projectiles, 2 other entities, 17 recipes, 8 advancements, 4 loot tables and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

More modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 134 a month now, 38 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
1,130 modpacks include Royal Variations in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Royal Variations. Share: how many of the modpacks with Royal Variations also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
