Tensura Neo Otherworld is a Tensura-themed magic adventure modpack built around reincarnation into another world, choosing a race, exploring, and uncovering its secrets, with the longer-term possibility of building a city and pursuing the Demon King’s throne. It brings together more than 200 mods, including The Twilight Forest, L_Ender's Cataclysm, Ice and Fire, Mowzie's Mobs, Eternal Starlight, and Accessories & Relics, alongside varied biomes, creatures, and structures. Players can choose among dozens of races and develop hundreds of skills, including Ultimate Skills such as Azathoth, God of the Void, Velgrynd, Manas · Ciel, and Fortuna, Lord of Fate. A quest book guides players through the modpack, with chapters covering its gameplay and additions such as Nature's Aura. The Mortal Cultivation content adds the Spirit Forest, Spirit Island, and Deep Secluded Lake biomes, the Azure Moss Qilin miniboss, and the Monkey mob, as well as skills such as Myriad Swords Return and Sword Flight. This cultivation content also introduces a deciphering system: players find Torn Pages in ruins, use a Scholar Table to analyze and decipher materials, and connect spiritual energy pathways to reveal secrets in Ancient Books and obtain secret manuals. Exploration can lead to Stele Caves, where a water-filled cavern hides an island and Ancient Stele, while the Ancient Forest is a spawn biome for Laplace and another Otherworlder challenge. Open-world boss encounters include Milim and Diablo, whose combat includes spell-disrupting tactics, defensive counters, and a body double that can maneuver behind players.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 4 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 3 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 249 of its 257 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 249 of its 257 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 201 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
56 mods are not checked yet.
2 mods can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
