About
Wesley’s Roguelike Dungeons adds dungeon-crawling adventures built around 18 themed dungeons, with examples including the Mines, Magma Chambers, Forge, Catacombs, Temple, and Illager Archives. The dungeons introduce new mobs, weapons, challenges, environments, and traps, and generally guide players through a mostly linear progression with optional objectives for greater rewards. Loot is distributed through a chest-and-key system, with some chests requiring keys earned by completing special challenges, and each dungeon culminates in a fight against one of the 12 regular dungeon bosses. Beyond the Overworld and Nether dungeons, the End contains the End Palace, a large city whose districts contrast wealthy residents above with poorer inhabitants in its deep lower levels. The mod also adds a dimension of difficult, seemingly endless dungeons where players race against a timer to collect loot before escaping or dying.
