Create: Skies Above is a skyblock progression modpack centered on Create automation and space exploration, designed for solo play or with friends. Its four chapters combine main progression, side quests, and bounties, gradually introducing Create machines and unlocking more mods and their benefits as the challenge grows. Players build machines to automate recipes and resource generation, with custom recipes that bring the pack’s mods together around a factory-style progression. Space travel is part of the main journey: players progress from a steel rocket to the Moon, to a void-engine rocketship to Mars, and a quantum-engine rocketship to Venus, before pursuing a multiversal-engine rocketship to travel beyond. The pack also includes Apotheosis spawners, large diesel engines, collectible cosmetics, Apotheosis gems for crafting armories, and cosmetic crowns. Its skyblock start is intended to ease new Create players into automation before the progression builds toward a complex finale, with a multiversal rocket engine challenge that calls for creative-level items.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 13 Oct 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 13 Oct 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 174 of its 175 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 173 of its 174 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 148 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
26 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
