Stranded and alone on a barren planet! Restart civilization.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 137 graded mods, 96 are graded A or B, 20 C and 21 D to F. Its last update came out 4.5 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Cuboid Outpost is a beginner-to-intermediate tech modpack about surviving after being stranded on a barren planet and rebuilding civilization, with a storyline that begins at Cuboid Outpost 42 after a disaster threatens your home world. Its skyblock-like start combines mining, Ex Nihilo Sequentia and unusual recipes, then guides progress through a substantial quest system while keeping the tech choices approachable, including AE2 storage with channels disabled initially and Refined Storage later. The pack adds custom ores, items, blocks and machines, and changes how players first reach the Nether and End, with extra content to explore in those dimensions and a final dimension. Examples of its world content include a Blackstone Temple in the Nether and Puff Bugs in the End, while the tech progression supports builds such as Immersive Engineering machinery, automated gravel washing and early lava production.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 2 May 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 25 Mar 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 136 of its 137 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of 136 of its 137 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 110 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
27 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
