Farm and cook your way through an endless desert.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 118 graded mods, 98 are graded A or B, 20 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 15 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Delight: Desert Chef is a compact modpack for agricultural and cooking gameplay built around Farmer’s Delight and its addons. You begin in an endless desert, where exploration and trading help you gather resources for farming, collect ingredients, and craft specified dishes; the desert single-biome world setting is required for this starting experience. Building mods let you turn the barren landscape into a vibrant, illuminated desert oasis, while the pack’s structure changes leave only small and big oases available. Modified recipes streamline redundant ingredients, better reflect cooking processes, or adjust difficulty, and revised loot tables help keep seed shortages from blocking progress. The quest coverage does not extend to Nether and End content, although players can still make foods related to those dimensions. The pack is kept to 120 mods or fewer, with a focus on smooth performance, including on lower-end computers.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 21 Jul 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 21 Jul 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 117 of its 118 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 111 of its 112 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 12 of the 99 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
13 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
