A modded survival pack with new worlds, creatures, and cars.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 108 graded mods, 31 are graded A or B, 25 C and 52 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
CaptainSparklez Modded Survival is a discontinued modpack that brings together mods featured in CaptainSparklez’s modded survival series, spanning exploration and RPG content, new biomes, vehicles, decoration, and unusual gameplay. Exploration includes Divine RPG’s eight dimensions and 115 new mobs, Tropicraft’s tropical dimension, and OreSpawn’s dungeons, dimensions, dragons, and powerful creatures such as Krakens and Mobzilla. Biomes O’ Plenty adds distinct biomes along with new plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and ores, while Mo’ Creatures contributes more than 40 animal and monster mobs, some of which can be tamed and ridden. The pack also includes drivable cars with different speeds and Chance Cubes, which can produce unpredictable effects when broken. Decocraft2 adds decorative objects for building, and Project Superhuman lets players earn points by defeating mobs to acquire superhero costume pieces, with random armor pieces from Blind Bags and a converter for turning surplus pieces into points. Trail Mix grants players abilities such as super speed, explosive punches, and fireball-fueled rocket jumps; pigs and horses that eat it gain distinctive high-powered movement and effects. The pack is no longer supported, though it may still work.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 27 Feb 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 116 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 115 of its 116 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (27 Feb 2020) in the 57 mods we checked.
3 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
59 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
