A combat-focused adventure with magic, monsters, and new places.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 80 graded mods, 43 are graded A or B, 19 C and 18 D to F. Its last update came out 5.5 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Epic Fight Universe is a combat-focused modpack built around Epic Fight, combining weapon-based fighting with magic, character progression, exploration, and survival additions. Its combat setup supports Spartan Weaponry and shields, gives Ice and Fire troll weapons a greatsword moveset, and adds Psi-based weapons through EpicPsi; the Spike Sword from Abyssal Depths also works with Epic Fight. Players can complement combat with Psi, Botania, Blood Magic, Ars Nouveau, and potions, while PlayerEx levels and relics or charms found in dungeons provide further character and equipment progression. Foes include dragons from Ice and Fire, creatures from Alex’s Mobs and Mowzie’s Mobs, and Champions-enhanced enemies that offer extra challenge and loot. Exploration spans Twilight Forest, the Outer End, BetterEnd and Endergetic-expanded End content, overworld dungeons, Quark caves, and the varied biomes of Oh The Biomes You’ll Go. Horse Combat Controls lets players aim and shoot a bow while riding, including at enemies behind them, and the pack also includes food variety and health progression through Spice of Life: Carrot Edition and Pam’s HarvestCraft. BlockCarpentry and Decorative Blocks add options for decorating a home.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 10 May 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 10 May 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 80 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 80 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 61 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
19 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
