Farming Crossing 5 is a cozy, Animal Crossing-inspired collectathon modpack built around farming, cooking, fishing, and creative building challenges. Quest chapters guide players through collecting flora, animals, and minerals, preparing food, and catching fish, while palette-based building prompts give them projects to complete. Quest progress can bring five custom residents into the world, including Jess the entrepreneurial beaver, who sells furniture, hats, and decorations, and Pamela the rabbit, a gardener and chef. Players earn Miles Tickets through quest rewards and by selling meals or seafood dishes to villagers, then spend them in a customized market and to duplicate building materials; bone meal can duplicate many flora items. Food cravings add optional rewards: eating foods that match their flavor profiles grants random potion buffs, with more satisfied cravings yielding more buffs; foods are classified as sweet or savory, heavy or light, hot or cold, and dry or wet. The pack also makes building and cooking more flexible, with wooden furniture craftable from logs or planks and convertible between pieces of the same wood type, plus mushroom patties that can replace meat in some recipes. Villagers have animal-inspired appearances, and hostile mobs normally do not spawn in the Overworld outside spawners on normal difficulty. Its broader collection includes farming and cooking additions such as Farmer’s Delight, Aquaculture 2, and Create, alongside decorative options including Macaw’s furniture and lighting, Handcrafted, and the MOA Decor series.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 18 Aug 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 19 Jun 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 233 of its 234 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 230 of its 232 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (18 Aug 2025) in the 175 mods we checked.
17 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
57 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
