Ride dragons, cast spells, and build a modern survival base.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 42 graded mods, 40 are graded A or B, 0 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 3 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
How to train your Dragon: The Third Part is a survival and exploration modpack built around Hiccup's Legacy, bringing rideable dragons and themed weapons, plants, and dragon-related mechanics into Minecraft. Alongside dragon adventures, Ars Nouveau adds spellcasting, while Deeper and Darker and Towns and Towers provide additional places to explore. For a broader survival world, Oh The Biomes We've Gone and Oh The Trees You'll Grow add biome and tree variety, and Aquaculture expands fishing and aquatic content. Progress through longer expeditions with Tinkers' Construct and its Levelling Addon, Tool Belt, and Classic Backpacks; Waystones support travel and Corail Tombstone helps with recovery. Mekanism and its add-ons, Industrial Foregoing, and Ender IO provide automation, while Refined Storage and Storage Drawers offer ways to organize resources.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 1 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 17 Oct 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 43 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 43 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 40 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
3 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
