Last Dawn is a post-apocalyptic survival modpack about rebuilding a foothold for humanity after an infection has overrun civilization. Scavenge resources and establish a stronghold among ruined cities as you withstand waves of undead and work to rebuild what has fallen. Zombies track sounds and light, can break through doors, fences, and other blocks, and may ride guardians through water or parrots to reach players in boats or sky bases. Fight with melee weapons such as spears, longswords, and throwing knives, or use firearms inspired by real-world guns; gunshots attract zombies from farther away and can reveal your position. Defend your growing settlement with turrets, fences, mines, and other traps. Explore landscapes dotted with overgrown city ruins and varied biomes, including toxic areas that require protective equipment to enter.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 5 Oct 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 101 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 75 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
26 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
