About
Massive Dig is a modpack for players who want to spend less time searching for resources and get into mining and building sooner. Its defining change is greatly increased generation of vanilla and some modded ores, making even rare resources much easier to find, including diamonds high on mountains. The pack combines that resource-rich world with technology and automation mods such as Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, BuildCraft, and Applied Energistics 2, alongside storage options including Refined Storage, Iron Chests, and Storage Drawers. It also includes exploration and world content through The Twilight Forest, Roguelike Dungeons, Recurrent Complex, and biome configuration, as well as farming and building choices such as Pam's HarvestCraft, Natura, Chisel, and Chisels & Bits. Tools including VeinMiner, Tinkers' Construct, JourneyMap, and the Just Enough Items recipe viewer round out the pack's mining, crafting, and navigation experience.
