FPS and quality of life modpack.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 57 graded mods, 53 are graded A or B, 4 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 3.4 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.4. See the mods
Newt+ (Sodium Edition) is a client-side Fabric modpack that improves Minecraft performance and graphics while adding quality-of-life refinements. It uses Sodium and Lithium for performance and supports familiar OptiFine-style features such as dynamic lighting, shaders, zoom, and connected textures. Its interface and item conveniences include ShulkerBoxToolTip, Beenfo, Tool Stats, Blur, BetterF3, Detailed Armor Bar, Item Borders, Item Model Fix, and Mouse Wheelie. It also includes Raised and Skin Layers 3D among its visual and gameplay refinements.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.4 · Fabric, 18 May 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 65 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 65 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 58 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
7 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
