A survival horror pack with zombies and eerie old-school atmosphere.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 193 graded mods, 159 are graded A or B, 28 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
PS2 CRAFT Zombie Survival Horror Edition is a Minecraft modpack designed to evoke the atmosphere of early PlayStation 2 horror games such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Fatal Frame. It combines horror threats, including From The Fog, From The Caves, and zombie mods, with immersive player animations, atmospheric sounds, and optional resource packs that enhance its PS2-inspired look. Survival begins in a village that may be an infected zombie town; a starter kit with a pistol, ammunition, and lantern gives you basic tools, while enemies can hear you, making stealth important. The pack also includes infection-focused content that can be disabled if you want to avoid having your world overrun. Additional features include firearms, furniture and props, voice chat support with integrated sounds, and camping-oriented quality-of-life additions such as a backpack and campfire.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 30 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 194 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 183 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 183 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
15 other mods show AI use only from after this release (30 May 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
