A spooky modpack full of eerie adventures and a scavenger hunt.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 70 graded mods, 41 are graded A or B, 8 C and 21 D to F. Its last update came out 23 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
SpookyJam 2024 is a modpack that brings together submissions from the 2024 fall-themed SpookyJam mod jam, along with a few classics from earlier years. Its additions include dungeons such as a soul church hiding a mysterious cult, winding mazes with treasure, and eerie clock towers, as well as pumpkin zombies, echo creepers, and a cursebringer who trades abilities for a price. For a lighter seasonal touch, the pack also includes pumpkins to carve and candy to try. A Spookypedia book introduces the included jam submissions and offers hints for the optional Pumpking’s Scavenger Hunt, which asks players to collect 13 items across the submissions to earn the Pumpking’s Crown.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 27 Nov 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 22 Nov 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 70 of its 71 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 51 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
20 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
