About
Dynamic Surroundings: Remastered is a standalone resource pack that replaces Minecraft’s default sounds to create a more immersive, atmospheric soundscape without requiring mod logic. It provides more than 800 sound effects, including biome-dependent ambience for places such as jungles, forests, oceans, beaches, deserts, the Deep Dark, and caves, along with ambient sounds for mobs in their natural environments. The pack also changes everyday and action sounds such as item pickups, bows and crossbows, combat, footsteps, running, wandering, and explosions, as well as weather audio for rain, thunder, storms, and wind. Sound transitions fade in and out smoothly, and audio is adjusted to propagate at different distances, helping nearby details stay distinct while sounds such as thunder carry farther. Because it relies on resource-pack sound events rather than mod logic, some sounds may overlap, particularly around unusually large groups of mobs.
