About
Patrix 32x is a shader-focused resource pack that gives Minecraft a realistic look while keeping textures close to vanilla colors, helping existing builds and maps retain their familiar palette. It emphasizes large-scale texture tiling and randomization rather than very high-resolution textures or elaborate custom block models, and its grass and leaves support biome coloring, including modded and datapack biome tints. The pack is designed for shaders that support normal and specular mapping or LabPBR features, including emissive and subsurface-scattering effects; without suitable shader support, some textures may look unusual. It also includes custom mob animations adapted from FreshLX’s work, with additional tweaks to fit the models. The pack is organized into a required Basic pack containing essential block textures and models, plus optional Models packs for extra custom models, Addon packs for gameplay-fitting extras, and Bonus packs for extras outside default gameplay. Showcase examples include a mountain village using Addon and Bonus features and a sci-fi control room using Bonus features. Its many extra textures make it heavier than other packs at the same resolution.
