About
Aphid Additions brings more life to the End with aphids, new food and crafting materials, and stables where the insects can be found. Lesser Aphids can be bottled for honeydew, while Greater Aphids can be ridden without a saddle; both types come in multiple colors, with most variants obtainable through breeding using Beetleberries. End Stables appear in the default End, and BetterEnd adds compatible Shrubland, Sulphur, and Umbra stable variants, though BetterEnd is not required. Aphids also provide meat and chitin: chitin makes armor and tools, while rare chitin spikes are used for faster, less durable weapons. The mod adds foods and plants such as Dragon's Breath, Hot Sauce, Elytra Shards, End Wings, Beetleberry Jam, and Jelly, a jump-boosting block with cake-like and slime-like properties. Its chitin tools and armor have distinctive effects: the tools inflict levitation and mine End-themed blocks quickly, while a full armor set grants a substantial jump boost.
