Ecologics refreshes vanilla biomes with additions designed to fit Minecraft’s familiar style, including new wildlife, plants, structures, building materials, foods, and environmental interactions. On beaches, coconut trees produce falling coconuts that can yield food or Coconut Crabs; crab claws can be cooked or used as shears, while coconut slices remove the player’s status effects and leave husks usable in recipes or compost. Seashells can be crafted into sandcastles that shelter turtle eggs from hostile mobs without stopping them from hatching, and a tropical music disc can be found in buried treasure. Deserts gain rideable, tamable camels that can carry two players and a chest, prickly pears growing on mature cacti, and Desert Ruins containing loot-filled pots. The pots store up to nine items, can be carved into different designs, and interact with redstone by signaling their contents and registering newly added items. Penguins inhabit snowy and icy biomes, gather in huddles that grant regeneration when at least four are nearby, hunt fish, and raise eggs that hatch into young penguins; adults shed feathers used to brew a Potion of Sliding. Thin Ice cracks under a jump and breaks beneath someone standing on it, dropping them into the water, while Snow Bricks and Ice Bricks add building options. Plains gain walnut trees and squirrels that can learn to trust players, then collect and plant nearby saplings; trusted squirrels can also be bred with honeycomb. Lush caves receive Azalea and Flowering Azalea wood, craftable into planks and decorative blocks, along with harvestable Azalea flowers and Surface Moss that can be layered on block sides; Moss Carpet stacks like snow layers. Maple trees can grow in several forest biomes and provide wood or sap, which players collect from tapped logs using Spiles and buckets, then boil in a cauldron over a heat source into syrup for bottling, sugar, and sweet foods. Nearly all features are configurable, with gameplay options available through a config file and world-generation features and many other settings adjustable through datapacks. Every Compat can extend Ecologics wood types to craft blocks from mods including Quark, Decorative Blocks, Architect’s Palette, Macaw’s Mods, and Another Furniture.

No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Ecologics-NeoForge-1.21.11-2.4.3.jar, CurseForge Ecologics-NeoForge-1.21.11-2.4.3.jar. 3 classes changed, in samebutdifferent.ecologics: Ecologics, EcologicsNeoForge, ModConfigNeoForge. We found nothing it sends, in the 11 of its 12 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

9,705 modpacks include Ecologics in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Ecologics. Share: how many of the modpacks with Ecologics also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
