Beast Slayer adds RPG-like creatures to Minecraft, with encounters and interactions that can reward players with distinctive materials, equipment, and magical items. Its creature roster spans different environments: Bonepiles and wall-climbing Bouldering Zombies lurk underground, Earthlings bring flowers to forests, Frostash Foxes and Frostwalkers inhabit snowy areas, and Gloops glide around beaches. Other encounters include forest-dwelling Ghosts that possess living beings, Nekros that raise the dead, Netherhounds in the Nether, and Zealots that shield nearby mobs from harm. Some creatures can become companions: Frostash Foxes can be tamed, Owlstacks protect travelers and animals, and Gloops can be ridden to glide or surface quickly while underwater. Little Vessels are customizable puppet allies that can be equipped with armor, swords, or bows, assigned to patrol an area, and brought back after defeat; ectoplasm heals them, while gunpowder makes them hostile to players other than their owner. The mod also features tougher threats and unusual encounters, including a Giant with a powerful grab, a Rifted Enderman whose crystal armor can be broken by striking while it glows, and a Sandmonster that appears during desert thunderstorms. Drops and special items extend these encounters, including the Bonepile's kunai, the Frostwalker's frost wand, Ghost ectoplasm for brewing, and a Rifted Ender Pearl that can teleport items or a creature.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 20 blocks, 75 items, 2 mobs, 1 projectile, 26 other entities, 19 recipes, 28 advancements, 30 loot tables and 76 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
