Adds more varied caves, underground biomes, and cave lakes to your world.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Cave Tweaks extends Minecraft’s cave generation with configurable variation in cave shapes, aquifers, and underground biome placement. Its settings let players adjust cave sizes, make spaghetti tunnels thicker or more intricate, change how often aquifers form or remove them, and shift cave biomes from more three-dimensional placement to an underground dominated by lush caves. With the default settings, lush and dripstone caves can occur at different depths, aquifers form larger, varied shapes and more often leave caves partly flooded, and cave entrances can range from rounded to layered. Spaghetti tunnels are warped into varied shapes, usually close near the surface to limit terrain disruption, and can occasionally open into larger entrances; entrance pillars are also less common. Cave Tweaks is discontinued and was made for Minecraft 1.18.1; the project describes compatibility with most world-generation mods, including Terralith.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.1.
Changes the game's code in 1 area: World generationChanges 2 game code files in this area: terrain, biomes and structures made when new land is created..
Libraries packed inside it change 27 more game code files: parts of
Fabric API and
Mod Menu.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
