Lets other mods add accessory slots to your inventory.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Curios API is a developer-facing framework that lets Minecraft mods add compatible accessory and equipment slots while giving players and modpack makers ways to configure them. It adds no equipment slots or substantive item content by default; its built-in contribution is an inventory screen that gathers available Curios slots in one place, while two Creative-menu items serve as developer examples. Slots are created on demand and registered by type identifier, with matching identifiers merged across mods to reduce duplication and improve compatibility. Slot types can be customized with their own icons or backgrounds, sizes, ordering, visibility, and enabled state, and developers can change the number of slots available to individual players through the API. Items are assigned to slot types through vanilla tags, so an item can fit multiple categories and tag choices can be overridden. Curios slots also work with applicable vanilla inventory mechanics such as Mending and Curses, and the API includes integration support for developers adapting existing items and mechanics.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.1 to 1.16.5.
Changes the game's code in 5 areas, as a library other mods build on: User interfaceChanges 3 game code files in this area: menus, screens, tooltips, the chat window and the in-game overlay., Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen., PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
Libraries packed inside it change 13 more game code files: Cardinal Components API (items) and Cardinal Components API (entities).
Adds 4 items: Curious Amulet, Curious Crown, Curious Knuckles and Curious Ring; 1 key binding: Open/Close Curios Inventory.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.1 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.1 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
An AI tool may have been used
GitHub Copilot (code review) took part in its pull requests.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with Curios API (Fabric): their authors or the author of Curios API (Fabric) say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Curios API (Fabric), so you only need one.
250 modpacks include Curios API (Fabric) in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Curios API (Fabric). Share: how many of the modpacks with Curios API (Fabric) also have that mod.
