A Vanilla++ pack with 13 origins to try.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 42 graded mods, 24 are graded A or B, 8 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 5.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Origins Initium is a Vanilla++ modpack centered on 13 origins, each changing how you play and adding a distinct challenge for solo or multiplayer worlds. Alongside the nine default Origins, named choices include Piglin, Slimecican, Foxkin, and Floran, with abilities that reshape combat, movement, survival, and diet. Piglins spawn in the Nether, are generally left alone by Piglins unless provoked, and gain bonuses from golden gear and crossbows, while becoming slower and undead outside the Nether. Slimecicans jump higher, avoid fall damage, can shrink instead of dying a limited number of times per respawn, and bounce on any block, but burn in hot biomes and move more slowly. Foxkin are small and fast, jump high, and deal especially strong critical hits, but have low health, limited food choices, and difficulty naturally regenerating health. Florans can grow plants by spending food, gain sustenance from sunlight, and deal more damage when wet, but are more vulnerable to fire. The pack also adds biomes and structures to discover across the Overworld, Nether, and End.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 4 Sep 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 2 May 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 46 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 30 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.

Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
