About
Dragon Magic and Relics is an endgame expansion for Mana and Artifice, intended to extend its late-game progression with powerful equipment, rituals, and spells. Its centerpiece is Dragon Mage Armor, an upgrade to the Druidic, Infernal, Spellweaver, or Witherbone faction armor that preserves enchantments and can be enhanced through rituals with glyphs and spells. Glyph upgrades add abilities such as flight, faster movement, damage and damage resistance, greater health or mana capacity, mana regeneration, night vision, projectile reflection, and water breathing; the armor can also be fortified with spells that trigger when its wearer takes damage. The mod also adds more than 20 armor upgrades, over 20 items and blocks, more than 10 spells and spell shapes, and three rituals. Other additions include artifacts and accessories such as the Amulet of Curse Protection, which counters negative effects and curse spells, and the Faction Amulet, which makes peace with other factions until the wearer attacks them. Its rituals extend beyond armor crafting: players can trade artifacts, leave their faction, return to the location of a previous death, and install glyph upgrades in Dragon Mage Armor and other Dragon Magic Containers. Spell additions include ways to mark locations for later spells or recall, alter the weather or summon water and lava, curse or damage opponents, and change day to night or night to day.
