Mana and Artifice adds a tiered magic system in which players craft and cast customizable spells using more than 70 shapes, components, and modifiers, combining components as they advance to create stronger effects. Players can also draw manaweaving patterns in the air with a wand to create magical effects, including summoning a grimoire or supplying patterns for rituals, or use a block to draw patterns automatically. Rituals reward careful setup with powerful, lasting effects such as opening long-distance portals, changing time or weather, travelling to or summoning other players, and forming alliances. Magic also shapes crafting and enchanting: players make enchantments through a sequence involving clay plates, an arcane furnace, a mystical anvil, mana, and reagents, and choose which enchantment they receive. Progression runs through tiers with natural game-related requirements; the Occulus shows what can be crafted and what to do next, while the Codex Arcana provides recipes and instructions for making it. A faction system lets players ally with ancient wizards, the fey courts, or Nether demons, each offering distinct benefits and drawbacks. The mod adds dozens of structures to explore and modular Constructs that can interact with blocks, sort items, refill furnaces, or fight; their heads, torsos, legs, and arms determine their capabilities. Constructs can be assembled from wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond, or obsidian, with mixed materials and spell-infused crystal affinities affecting traits such as speed, fire resistance, floating, and physical resistance. Players can issue basic commands to Constructs with a bell or assign them sequential jobs through a Lodestar, and can send them back to a workbench to modify them.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 4 areas, as a library other mods build on: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 6 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., PlayerChanges 3 game code files in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls., Blocks and fluidsChanges 2 game code files in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work. and Networking and multiplayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: connections, the server list and what is sent between your game and a server..
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
mna-1.7.2.9.jar, CurseForge mna-1.7.2.9.jar. 1 class changed, in com.mna.entities.renderers: ConstructEntityRenderer. We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
