Fish of Thieves brings Sea of Thieves fish into Minecraft, adapting them with distinctive behaviors and spawning conditions tied to biomes, time of day, weather, terrain, and nearby blocks. Its fish include Splashtails, Pondies, Islehoppers, Ancientscales, Plentifins, Wildsplashes, Devilfish, Battlegills, Wreckers, and Stormfish, with variants such as the Honey Islehopper, Lava Devilfish, Blackcloud Wrecker, and thunderstorm-spawning Stormfish. Fishing can yield live fish, and players can use worms as bait to improve their chances of catching particular fish; worms also attract fish and can be used to feed them into trophy size. Fish appear in shoals that players can fish from, while a Fisherman Villager’s revealed map can lead to one of ten larger Treasured Fish, including the Dewdrop Pondie and Starshine Stormfish. Players can display captured fish in wall-mounted plaques, which come in several frame styles and can signal their rotation to redstone comparators. The mod also adds a Tropical Island biome and new plant life, including coconut, banana, pineapple, mango, pomegranate, and Guardian fruit plants and trees. These additions have interactive growth and uses: bees can pollinate banana clusters, coconut fronds and banana leaves help cauldrons collect rainwater, and eating Guardian Fruit makes nearby fish stop fleeing while Guardians avoid the player.

No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files without running them.
3 of its files for recent versions are not checked yet.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 16 of its 22 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
