Gate of Babylon expands Minecraft's gear and combat options with additional weapons, bows, shields, tools, and armor for different fighting styles. Its weapons include daggers, spears, broadswords, rapiers, haladies, waraxes, katanas, yo-yos, and boomerangs, alongside material-based bow variants and sturdier shields. Their combat styles range from the dagger's quick strikes and the broadsword's slower, heavier hits to the spear's combination of melee and thrown attacks, the rapier's rapid attacks and forward lunge, and the haladie's double hit. Boomerangs can be thrown and circle around the player until their timer expires or they are caught, while yo-yos provide close-to-mid-range attacks. Katanas can enter slash mode and teleport forward on release, damaging mobs in their path; special slash enchantments can add a damaging trail, fire, healing, or lightning strikes. Waraxes can send out a shockwave that damages and knocks back nearby enemies, and their Smashing enchantment increases its range, damage, and knockback.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: PlayerChanges 2 game code files in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls., Inventory and itemsChanges 2 game code files in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting. and Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
A library packed inside it changes 12 more game code files: Reach Entity Attributes.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
