    About

    Horse Tweaks adds craftable saddle upgrades that give horses new abilities, along with small changes intended to make riding and handling them less frustrating. The Swimming Saddle keeps riders mounted in water, though horses swim slowly; the Leafwalker Saddle lets horses move through leaves, and the Frostwalker Saddle freezes water beneath their feet. The Firewalker Saddle lets horses travel over crumbling magma blocks, while Jump Assist removes the jump charge-up and makes every jump full strength. The Thorns Saddle halves incoming damage and pricks enemies that attack the horse, and the Feather Fall Saddle prevents fall damage to both horse and rider. Upgraded saddles lose durability as their abilities are used, and this behavior can be configured. Additional handling tweaks return used leads to the player's inventory, let players equip a horse by right-clicking it with armor or a saddle, and set a tamed horse's home position when dismounted so it does not wander too far.
