Immersive Combat updates Better Combat Rebirth with configurable combat animations and mechanics that make attacks more deliberate and responsive. First-person attacks use sweeping, chopping, or stabbing animations, while weapons and held items move with idle breathing and adjust their positioning around walls and entities; weapon swings can also tilt the camera. Attacks have a cooldown and a registration delay, with a new crosshair cooldown display, and the mod adds critical chance and critical damage alongside dual-wielding and offhand attacks. Extensive settings let players configure weapon sounds, animations, reach, sweep, knockback, critical attributes, and potion effects on hit, as well as attack dimensions and cooldowns; shields can gain a configurable bash, and bows can have adjustable damage, velocity, and draw speed. Other combat options include attacks that can disable shields, configurable knockback, and reduced damage and reach for unarmed attacks; weapons also show tooltips for attributes such as reach, knockback, and critical stats. The mod adds enchantments including Curse of Gluttony, Webbing, Revitalize, Sorcery, and Lightning, and potions including Aetherealized, Precision, and Brutality, along with a Bleeding effect. It also adds combat sounds for actions such as equipping, sheathing, swinging, and hitting, plus animations and particles for shoveling grass paths, tilling farmland, and stripping bark from logs. Additional changes include shields blocking fire from projectiles, healing arrows dealing no physical damage when they heal a target, and Blindness and Nausea affecting mobs; the mod also supports Elenai Dodge 2, Spartan Weaponry, and Quality Tools.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 5 enchantments and 147 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
