    LevelZ adds a player skill system in which characters gain skill levels to unlock access to gear, items, and blocks, while also strengthening passive abilities. Skills can improve attributes such as health, armor, movement speed, mining efficiency, and attack damage, and unlock bonuses including stronger bow or crossbow attacks, extra ore drops, fall-damage reduction, and health regeneration. Skill requirements can restrict the use or crafting of items, blocks, and entities, as well as mining and enchantments, making progression affect what players can access and do. Datapacks can add or overwrite skills and restrictions, while configuration settings let players adjust options such as maximum levels and experience rates.
