About
Not Enough Pets expands the available pet cats, dogs, and parrots with a broad selection of vanilla-derived and custom breeds, including Siamese and Jellie cats, Beagles and Siberian Huskies, and Cockatiels and African Greys. Cats and ocelots keep their existing skin when tamed: ocelots spawn in jungles, while other cat varieties appear in villages, and a black cat can be found at swamp huts. Dog varieties spawn as village strays, while wolf varieties can be found in the wild; some variants also appear across different biomes. The mod adds dyeable collars for tamed cats and restores 1.12 parrots in older versions, along with additional cat and ocelot sounds. Configuration options let players adjust pet noise, following and teleport behavior, parrot shoulder dismount distance, and which sounds parrots mimic, including sounds from other mob mods. Cat taming and creeper avoidance remain unchanged, while ocelot-type cats no longer avoid water and parrots stay on a player's shoulder while riding another entity.
