    About

    Oh The Trees You'll Grow is a tree-generation library for modders and players to create custom trees from Minecraft structure-template NBT files. Creators build separate trunk and canopy pieces, then configure how the tree is assembled and generated, including its height, log and leaf blocks, suitable ground, placement conditions, and decorations such as vines, beehives, or altered ground. The configuration can also replace selected log and leaf blocks with chosen block states and place additional blocks saved in the structure, while the library handles tree-specific details such as leaf persistence and log direction. The library includes test trees to inspect and generate, and trees made with it can be used in datapacks and added to world generation through placed features or biome integration. Vanilla clients can connect to servers using the library without installing it themselves.
