About
Patchouli (Fabric/Quilt) provides a data-driven, code-free way for Minecraft modders and modpack makers to create in-game documentation books. Authors can build books with rich text and macros, localization, custom visuals and sounds, nested categories, bookmarks, and page types for text, crafting, and images, then preview text in game as they work. Book entries can be unlocked through advancements, and authors can tailor what content appears to configuration or the presence of other mods. Books can also include world-visible multiblock diagrams to help players construct structures, with layouts defined using block patterns and mappings. Templates let authors create custom page types, while mod integration can place a book in a mod's creative tab and present it as that mod's own.
