About
Persistency is a library for Minecraft mod developers that supports data caching by indicating whether the current client or server load is structurally similar to the previous load. It makes this comparison using mod names and versions, so configuration changes are not included. The library exposes a caches folder and load-consistency status for other mods to query, and uses a temporary cache file to avoid committing the mods cache when a load ends unexpectedly.
