Pewter expands Tinkers' Construct, and Construct's Armory, with materials, traits and modifiers drawn from other mods, adding them when the corresponding integrations are loaded. Its integrations cover Astral Sorcery, Better With Mods, Biomes O' Plenty, Botania, Embers: Rekindled, Soot, Thaumcraft and The Betweenlands; the materials include Starmetal, Manasteel, Terrasteel, Dawnstone, Thaumium, Void Metal, Weedwood, Octine, Syrmorite and Valonite. The material traits bring mod-themed effects to tools and armor: Thaumium tools can draw durability from the Aura, Terrasteel armor can grant passive health regeneration when all its cores use that material, and Weedwood gear gains bonus damage against Betweenlands mobs while corroding. Other examples include Dawnstone tools that deal more damage at lower elevations, Ashwoven armor that resists fire but is weaker against other attacks, and Syrmorite armor that reflects some damage when its wearer is in water. Pewter also adds tool and armor modifiers, including Dragonstone for bonus durability based on Botania material content, Runes that adjust mana costs or generation, and Quicksilver for increased damage against Tainted mobs. The mod aims to give materials distinctive traits suited to their themes and acquisition difficulty, and includes a configuration option to disable all Pewter content.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
